14. QUEEN BEE

Vicki Black is a novice artist who enjoys painting and gardening in her spare time. She is married with two adult children, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild with another one on the way. At school Vicki majored in art but chose family over a career in art. Currently Vicki is employed full time with The Hearth at Juday Creek. This is Vicki's fourth time participating in the public art display in St Joseph Michigan. Previous pieces include; Sunset Turkey, Capt' Jack Pelican & Steaming Spirit. The inspiration for Queen Bee came from the singer Beyoncé who is known as Queen Bee.
